They had my truck for over 2 months waiting on a part for the transmission. This is a $83,000 truck that was just bought last year Brand new and a year later the truck is out service. This is my work truck that I could not do certain jobs because no truck. After owning 7 trucks and having to replace the trans in everyone after 100,000 miles. Then on my 2016 2500 silverado I had to spend $12,000.00 on the fuel system. I am done with Chevy. Time to start investing in Ford now I am done with Chevy after being very loyal for over 20 years with Chevy . Now it just makes me look stupid to keep coming back.

My experience at Mountain View was excellent. Ivan was extremely helpful and went above and beyond meeting my needs. He also helped me with a headlight that needed replacement and I am waiting for the part to arrive to replace. I waited for my vehicle in the guest area. I was comfortable and studied for 2 hours with no interruptions. The leather seats and wi fi are a great touch.

I had an issue with my 2021 Silverado, spoke to several employees and management, they ended up resolving my issue and took in my trade and offered and 2025 with discounts due to the situation at hand. Uri was amazing in the process of it all on going back and forth trying to get a resolution for me and closing the deal and making sure I had what I needed this time around, Jeff as well was great on assisting and bringing down the truck for me to see before I purchase due to my crazy busy schedule. The intake Teck was extremely professional other than Mr. Garcia, Mountain Chevrolet has serious staffing problems I got the impression they are working on who can do less, they do not appear to enjoy or appreciate the importance of how they interact with their costumers. I was looking for a base model Equinox FWD LT - they had an equinox on the lot priced like it was a base model but with a few extra options installed which I'm glad to have. The purchasing process took a few hours - about half of that time was used to ensure that I got all of the discounts (EV Credit, Costco Rewards, Military Discount). I believe my total discount on the car was $10,500, which was over 20% of the sticker price. I would gladly recommend Mountain View Chevrolet, and if you're in the market for an Equinox EV I'm very happy with mine and they have some great discounts right now.

I have now been coming to Mt. View for my 21 Silverado for three years for oil changes and service. I am officially done and will not be returning. There is a huge disconnect with your service advisors and the customer. I have asked that my truck be looked at for two different noises coming from underneath the vehicle multiple times. Both times the answer is nothing. This last visit I was told I needed a new muffler, but the advisor couldn't explain why. $2,000 later I have a new muffler, but I still don't know why. I waited over a month for someone to call me back when the parts came in, but I had to follow-up to make the appointment. My front passenger side tire is being severely and unevenly worn, but nobody seems to care or offer a solution. I come to a dealer and pay top dollar to get the most professional and complete care, and should feel that the service advisors have a shared interest in taking care of my vehicle, but this is not the case at Mt. View unfortunately, Time to find a better mechanic. I am done with you! Campbell Wright

I scheduled a service appointment that was recommended through my Chevrolet App. Upon arrival I waited 10 minutes outside the bay waiting on a service advisor, with no acknowledgment of if I needed assistance. Service advisor upon completion of her lunch, approached me and assisted me , she had no idea why I was in for service or what was needed. During the conversation I stated several times I only approved what was necessary based on the mechanics review of the truck. Upon completion I was billed over $200 for a basic oil change and some other minor work! $160 was for labor. I did not need an oil change as I just did recently elsewhere. The oil gage and % was at over 60% upon arrival therefore the oil change should have never been competed. Once again as stated on the receipt and written by the service advisor “ customer requested” which I did not. Chevrolet has to be very careful with the terminology “requested by the customer” if not actually requested by the customer. Checkout, none of my rewards points were used as I requested through the App when the appointment was made. I am requesting a full refund as I would never go anywhere for service that costs over $200 for an oil change or $160 in labor costs. I would have never approved the service.

The representative that helped me was friendly, I was told it was time to bring in my Corvettefor an oil change due to time length even though the car only had 275 miles on it. I was disappointed that I could not get a shuttle ride home, but I do understand. I also only NISSAN Maxima and the Nissan dealer no longer offer shuttle rides, and I was grateful to get at least one complementary oil change.

I would like to explain why I'm giving such a low rating (one star) in spite of the service I received on my vehicle. When I originally purchased the battery for my Chevy Trax it came with, I believe a 40-month warranty. Recently the battery was testing low, then one morning the vehicle wouldn't start. I then jump started it and took it in to be replaced as I was told by your service department it was still under warranty. I didn't have an appointment and was told my vehicle might be done by the end of the day since test would have to be run. After dropping off the car I received a call about three hours later informing me that it was in fact the battery and the car was ready for pick up. That all went very well since I didn't have an appointment and the vehicle was finish in a timely manner. The problem I have with the service is I was charged almost $80 for the installation without the warranty being reset! So, the bottom line is Mountain View Chevrolet ended up charging me seventy-nine dollars and change more than the battery originally cost! If the original warranty wasn't going to be reset, then I shouldn't have been charged for service that way the battery would be at its original cost! OR if I was going to be charged an additional amount for service, then the warranty should have been reset! It's very simple math with me, the customer, ending up on the short end of the deal paying more than the battery originally cost! I do blame myself for not asking to see a manager at the time this happened, but Mountain View Chevrolet should take responsibility as I do not consider this as a good way to conduct business or treat a customer! Your immediate attention to this matter would be appreciated. Thank you. David Granado.

I had a problem with my air conditioner in my 2017 Silverado. The condenser was replaced less than a year ago and it failed again. It was covered by the two-year warrantee so there was no charge. My only issue was the 7 hours I had to wait in the customer lounge even if I had an appointment.

I went in because the check engine light came on. I made an appointment. My service associate was super nice however failed to explain that I would be paying $250 for a diagnostic. He did provide the paper but it would be nice to be informed. I was later called and told that it was gonna be $3400 for something that should be covered under a Chevrolet. I understand I do not have an extended warranty, but I’m very disappointed in what is covered by Chevrolet

I took my ZL1 in for repairs, and unfortunately, my experience was deeply disappointing. While the car was in their care, the dealership nicked the door and had it repainted—without ever informing me. I only found out when I arrived to pick up the vehicle. The freshly painted door now noticeably doesn’t match the rest of the car, which is unacceptable for a high-end vehicle and a serious breach of trust. Beyond that, communication throughout the entire process was extremely poor. Aside from the initial inspection, I only received one follow-up call over the course of three weeks. I had to call multiple times just to get basic updates and was given inaccurate completion dates each time. Despite these check-ins, no one ever mentioned the damage or the unauthorized repair. There was also zero communication about my warranty—what was or wasn’t covered—and no follow-up regarding rental car coverage, even though I was told someone would reach out.

The volume on my radio didn't work after getting work done on my car. I brought it back the next day and all of the techs were gone for the day. The service consultant attempted to figure it out, but determined it was an "anomaly" and wasn't related to the service work they did. He said I would need to schedule an appt to have a technician look at it. As I was leavingg, I decided to power off the radio and back on again, and it fixed the issue! I'm surprised I didn't think to try that earlier, but I'm more surprised the service consultant didn't think to try it. I also wanted to note that there was no wifi for me to work on my laptop during my visit. It was inconvenient, but I was encouraged to walk to Starbucks for coffee and wifi (the coffee the dealership provided was black with powdered creamer and sugar provided).

Took my car to get services with a full tune up a break job. They kept my truck all day. Hadn’t worked on it Saturday. Monday tilled around and they only did the tune - up not the break service. So late Monday afternoon took the truck to pep boys instead. Pep boys upland did a great timely job.

When I took it in for an oil change and to have the transmission looked at cuz. It continues to shift hard service. Manager told me the transmission is fine. That's normal operations. But when I got the truck at the dealership, the engine light was on. So a new problem occurred while it was at the dealership that they didn't catch. So I could pull back in. I didn't even get down the block, took it back in. And that afternoon, he told me, oh, your battery is going out. We had to jump your car. I never had battery problems. I just dropped it off 2 days ago. So then I had to bring him a brand new battery. So he can continue to diagnose the check engine light, which he said. Now is a brake module. The service was excellent but being told that if I paid by credit card, a 3 1/2% fee would be added. Having just come from Morongo, I had the $550 in cash and used it to pay my bill. It used to be that paying in cash would provide for a discount. Everyone uses credit cards and to penalize their use with a surcharge is excessive from the customers point of view.

The technician forgot to put def in my Silverado diesel. This was my first oil and first experience dealing with your service department. I also had an appointment for my oil change at 11 and it took three hours. I had to go back the same day to get def in the truck. The cap was left off as well.

Associate was courteous and helpful. It was a 2.5 hour wait for an oil change and tire rotation. I was 2nd in line at 7am. My tires were rotated the scope of work said tire pressure was adjusted but that did not happen. I set the pressure later that day myself. For that reason I’m giving 3 stars. Not sure if I will be coming back to be honest!

My name is Brandon Duffield, and I am writing because I am extremely frustrated with the level of service I have received. I have called the service center multiple times today, December 6th, with no answer and no return call. I brought my 2021 Chevy Tahoe in on Wednesday, December 3rd, around 1 p.m. after the vehicle stopped recognizing my key fob and would no longer start. Because of this, I was forced to have the vehicle towed to Mountain View Chevrolet—a dealership my family and I have trusted and purchased several vehicles from over the years. I spoke with Johnathan Pena in the service department and explained that a locksmith who came to my home earlier had informed me that the issue was likely related to a faulty antenna not picking up the key fob signal. I made my concerns very clear. Although Johnathan said he had never personally encountered this problem, he seemed receptive and assured me he would update me the following day. He also stated the vehicle would likely not be ready that same day. On Thursday, December 4th, I waited the entire day for an update that never came. At approximately 3 p.m.—knowing the dealership closes at 5 p.m.—I called the service department myself. Only then did Johnathan inform me that the vehicle still was not ready and that they were having trouble getting the key fobs to connect. He told me he would provide an update on Friday. Friday, December 5th arrived, and once again, no one reached out to me. I called the service department at 1 p.m. with no response, then again at 2 p.m., and finally spoke with another representative who was surprised that I still had not received any updates. Approximately fifteen minutes after that call, Johnathan finally contacted me and explained that the key fobs were not the issue at all. He admitted that the technician had to physically wiggle the antenna just to get the fobs to connect and start the vehicle. He told me the real issue was the antenna and its connection, and that replacing it would cost an additional $500. At this point, I was extremely upset. I had already been charged for a new key fob, a diagnostic fee, and labor—only to be told that the key fobs were never the problem. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I was informed there was a good chance the key fobs may not work again. I was also told that a technician accidentally dinged my door while working on the vehicle. I left the dealership with a $926 bill, two key fobs that still do not work, a damaged door, and absolutely no resolution. My wife is now without a car for several more days, and I will need to arrange another tow back to the dealership. This situation is completely unacceptable. I am extremely disappointed and have never received service like this from any dealership—especially not one my family has supported for years. Please contact me at your earliest convenience. The level of negligence and lack of communication I have experienced is absolutely unacceptable.

I explained a situation and advised that I no longer ca see information on my left side of my vehicle and the advisor stated it was checked and they both read the same so it’s ok that you can see info on the left side I am uncomfortable not knowing my tire pressure or brake information. Also my steering wheel keeps getting stuck I am under warranty and I would like a second opinion

I waited in the car line up for about 15 minutes while one of the associates stoop in the middle of the empty lane conversating with the person in front of me. Pretty much no regard f or anyone else getting in line or dropping off their vehicle. Another associate finally came out and had to deal with 3 other people that came afyer me. Then it took 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation, even with an appointment.

I found myself in an unusual predicament, my wife came home and said the car is making a funny noise, I knew that it had to go to the shop, I rushed down to the dealership and found that the service department was closed for the day. I was unfamiliar with the night, drop procedure, but was instructed by one of your employees. I was going out of town the next morning and really didn’t have a choice. I dropped the vehicle and filled out the necessary envelope, and hope for the best. When the dealership opened on the following Monday, I got a call and was notified that my vehicle was promptly repaired. No charge fantastic service, absolutely appreciate it! Thank you very much!
